Will this guard fit my specific brand of weed eater?

The Debris Guard fits all ROUND weed eater shafts.

Does the guard make the trimmer feel heavy or hard to swing?

Not at all. We engineered the guard using high-strength but lightweight industrial materials, so it provides maximum protection without ruining the balance of your equipment.

How durable is the material against heavy rocks and thick brush?

It’s built to take a beating. Unlike factory plastic guards that can crack or shatter, our American-made shield is constructed from high-grade materials specifically designed to absorb high velocity impacts from gravel, thick weeds, and hidden debris.

HOW TO & POLICIES

Assembly Instructions

1. Read all instructions completely before attempting to assemble the shield to a string trimmer.
2. Clean and remove any debris from shaft of string trimmer where bracket will be mounted.
3. Remove knob nut and bolt from U shaped bracket.
4. Place U shape part of bracket over shaft of trimmer. Insert long bolt into hex hole opening of
bracket until flush with surface and apply a washer and knob nut (do not fasten tight). Position the
DEBRIS GUARD on the shaft for maximum efficiency, close to string cutting guard and tighten knob nut until shield is securely held in place.

Operating Instructions
  • Position the DEBRIS GUARD close to the trimmer’s string cutting guard for maximum debris
    deflection.
  • DEBRIS GUARD’S extension arms are designed to allow downward positioning for normal use or
    upward positioning for tight trimming areas.
  • For maximum effectiveness, always remove the DEBRIS GUARD from the trimmer after each usage
    and clean with a garden hose.
